Come and have a go
Remember childhood barn dances — high-fiving total strangers, spinning until you’re dizzy and laughing until your sides hurt? We do, and we’re bringing that magic to Yarnstock.
This is a passion project built on fond memories, a desire to bring people together and a healthy dose of “let’s give it a go!” We’ll have recorded music and a caller on the microphone to talk everyone through each dance before it begins, so nobody needs to know the steps in advance.
Children, grandparents, couples, families, friends and solo dancers can all join in.
Our caller will explain every dance. We will learn six together during the evening.
Refreshments are available from the Lower Lode Inn throughout the evening and break.
